Weekend Breakfast

Our weekend ritual for breakfast usually includes Brian making us pancakes. They're so yummy and we definitely look forward to it during the week. Sleeping in as much as possible (as long as Mako will let us), making breakfast together, and just sitting around relaxing in the morning... all great things!

Brian is practicing making turtles out of pancakes for our kids someday. Nice job babe!

More Mako

Mako's Easter picture. He loves playing in the tall grass in the front yard. Too bad daddy had to cut it the other day :(

Meet Mako

On Saturday, Brian and I finally got a new addition to our family! We've been waiting and looking for a companion for Fabian for quite a few weeks. We wanted to be able to rescue a dog from the humane society, or some place like that. When we went to "preview" the dogs on Friday, I didn't even consider Mako as an option, but as I was heading home he popped into my head. So I asked Brian what he thought of the white pupppy, and he said he was all about the puppy. Cut to Saturday morning, and after being at the humane society from 12:30-3:00 we were finally able to bring home both our new little puppy and Fabian. We were so excited! Mako's original name was "Boxy", but we decided on Mako in honor of the boat and the shark. We think it suits him perfectly. He's only 3 months old, so he has a lot of learning to do, hopefully Fabian will help him a little.Mako resting up before his exciting ride home

Who Dun It?

Murder Mystery Dinner Train Theatre

Brian and I celebrated his birthday a second time, by going on the Murder Mystery Dinner Train Theatre on Sunday. It was my special treat for him. Just something different for us to try because we've talked about going for so long. It was fun. Not quite the murder mystery I was expecting, but it was definitely an experience. We met and sat with a nice couple during the ride and dinner, ate some yummo steak, and were entertained. What a great night! Happy Birthday again Babe!

Happy Birthday Babe!!

On Thursday, we celebrated Brian's 33rd birthday! Wow, that's two birthdays we've been able to celebrate together. We had the family over for pizza, cupcakes, and presents. It was a such a nice, relaxing, fun night. Happy Birthday Babe!
